FUN, FUN, FIELD TRIPS!! Because of COVID19, all field trips have been postponed or canceled until further notice. Stay tuned for any updates through MyLLA or Class Dojo.
We will be having some fun and exciting Field trips in 1st grade. Parent Chaperons are very important for every off campus field trip, plus children love to have their parents around whenever possible. If you are interested in coming along and helping out as a chaperone, please pick up the required "Volunteer forms" from the office. Fill them out completely and turn them in to the office as soon as possible. Please be sure to tell me which field trips you are interested in and I will be happy to put you on the list.

CHAPERONE INFORMATION AND POLICIES
*Chaperons are in charge of their group and should know where each child is at all times during the field trip.
*Please remind misbehaving students of appropriate behavior and let their teacher know of any problems as soon as possible.
*Much effort is placed in planning field trips and arranging supervision and transportation. Chaperon lists are made as early as a week before the scheduled trip. Keeping your commitment to chaperon is imperative. Chaperon promptness is extremely important in helping to keep the schedule for the day.
*Remain with the group at all times. Children are trusted in your care and are expected to remain with you in the group or approved areas at all times.
*If you have been given medication or permission slips for the students in your group, please return them to the teacher at the end of the trip.
*It is the policy of Loma Linda Academy that siblings or other children not in the first grade class, NOT attend field trips. The field trips are planned for first graders and all chaperon attention must be given to the children assigned to you. Safety and educational opportunities are of utmost importance on these trips.
